why did you chose it?
We chose this soundtrack for our music video as it is very conventional of the D&B music genre. Firstly the soundtrack features a fast tempo, a conventional feature of the Drum and bass genre, this will provide us with an opportunity to operate quick cuts between shots, once again another convention of the D&B genre. Also this song doesn't have a music video which will make it easier for us in making an original, unique music video for this soundtrack. Conventionally the music video has little lyrics, again a convention of the D&B music sector.

What are some initial ideas?
From the audience feedback we discovered that the majority of the audience are interested in seeing symbolic imagery, fast paced editing and extreme urban sports. These views are a possibility in making the music video as the song provides good boundaries for the creation of these conventional ideas. Additionally we have to consider the lighting. Our initial ideas mean that the video should be shot in the evening, benefiting from low key lighting.
who is the performer, what image will they have?
we will need to have an artist to perform the rap parts of the music video. We will try and conclude a stereotypical image of a D&B rapper. In terms of Mise-en-scene we will need to consider the clothing and lighting of the character.
what shooting locations?
The general idea of this music video is to be active and outdoors. This means we will have to ensure we cast the video in open, outdoor locations. Mise-en-scene is important in ensuring it meets the conventions of the video. Additionally the video will be in a 'party' location as this is the conventional view of a D&B music video.
